World’s First Microsoft Mango Based Phone Is Here

Yesterday, we told you folks that Microsoft’s Mango was ready to roll in the market as it had given samples to the manufacturers. And today we bring you the news that Fujitsu Toshiba has unveiled the world’s first Mango based Windows Phone, the IS12T.

This news came within 24 hours of Microsoft announcing that its Mango OS had been provided to manufacturers all over the globe for field testing. The new OS is believed to have more than 500 new features with an amazingly fast Internet Explorer 9.

No one in the tech industry was expecting this fast deployment of Windows Phone OS. But seeing this move by Fujitsu Toshiba, we won’t be surprised if some of the other leading manufacturers launch their Mango based Windows Phone in a few days.

The IS12T is said to feature a 3.7″ full HD screen with 13.2 mega pixel camera. The smartphone includes Bluetooth and Wifi with 32 GB memory and weighs not more than 113 grams. Fujitsu Toshiba, the manufacturers of IS12T, announced that this smartphone’s battery provides more than 11 days on standby and nearly 6 hours of talktime.

Microsoft’s Mango OS has got multiple features like People Hub, improved APIs, plethora of apps, better Live Tiles, improved multitasking, and better GUI.

It is going to be interesting to see Mango competing Android and iOS.
