Apple To Launch An Ultra-Thin MacBook?

According to popular rumors, Apple Inc. will soon launch an ultra-thin MacBook which is already in its final testing stage. It is not yet known whether it will be MacBook Air or MacBook Pro but it is confirmed that it will come in both 15″ and 17″ HD screen.

The release date has not been finalized yet but it is expected to be available near Christmas. This MacBook will have a SSD storage and a DVD writer. These changes are notable because these were missing from some of the previous versions of MacBook. Furthermore, these updates are coming at a time when there is a stiff competition among ultra thin laptops.

The best feature of this MacBook will be its design. It is rumored that it will be super slim and will have a cool body design which will be enough to attract customers.

The market for ultra-thin notebooks is expected to get more competitive as every big name in the tech industry is about to launch its ultra-thin product. Even Intel has announced that it will launch its own series of UltraBooks,

Apple’s MacBook has great features ranging from iOS 5, iTunes, to the ultra-thin body design.

But will these features be enough to beat the other manufacturers?

Microsoft Apologizes For Its Tweet On Winehouse

Microsoft has apologized for one of its tweets after the death of British singer Amy Winehouse. The tweet, which was apparently an effort by the software giant to increase its music sales, had created a fiasco in the British media.

The alleged tweet, which was posted on Microsoft’s ‘tweetbox360’ account at microblogging site Twitter asked users to buy Winehouse’s “Back To Back” album from social.zune.net in her memory. Zune is Microsoft’s website that provides music, films and other entertainment content for computers, smartphones and Xbox 360 consoles.

Microsoft was criticized a lot on Twitter beacuse of this tweet. As a result, Microsoft’s UK PR had to come forward and apologize to the people by saying that,”Apologies to everyone if our earlier Amy Winehouse ‘download’ tweet seemed purely commercially motivated”.

Amy Winehouse’s latest album was at the top of the charts on the iTunes music store. Her last single,’Rehab’, was one of the most popular songs over there.

The British singer was found dead at her house on Saturday. The cause of the death remains a mystery but cops are not treating it as suspicious.

At the end Microft’s UK PR tweeted,”With Amy W’s passing, the world has lost a huge talent, our thoughts are with Amy’s family and friends at this very sad time.”
